I never thought such simple but creative uses of shadows as art could turn into clever marketing innovations. Ever since I discovered shadow puppets at the age of about 4, I never really seemed to notice anything too much more creative in the way of a silhouette.
Once again though, the contributors of Trend Hunter have provided ample examples of the greater potential of shadows as art. See some of my favorites above.
Implications - While many businesses in today's industry work furiously to provide cutting-edge design and innovation, it may be beneficial to turn to once traditionally popular concepts. In doing so, businesses can appeal to consumers on a nostalgic level.
