Perfume bottle designs have a lot of thought put into them, as they need to be able to dispense the product properly whilst also having a unique look and feel to them in order to appeal to people of different demographics.
In recent times, perfume bottle designs have become increasingly cheeky and irreverent, as they have begun to take on shapes reminiscent of the human form or that of other familiar forms that don't often form the inspiration for cosmetic packaging and dispensing design. Also, urban youth culture has also begun to make its mark on perfume packaging, with elements such as street graffiti and Internet culture references making their presence felt.
Indeed perfume bottle designs are about more than just the simple function of dispensing fragrance, but are about making a fashion and lifestyle statement.
