Taktik Design has revitalized Collège Sainte-Anne's Marie Esther Pavilion through an innovative renovation that transforms the 1980s academic building into a dynamic, nature-infused learning environment.
The redesign strategically reconfigures formerly enclosed spaces into vibrant communal areas that promote both social interaction and quiet reflection. This approach addresses modern educational needs for flexible, student-centered spaces. Key interventions by Taktik Design include removing partitions to create light-filled gathering zones, installing meditation alcoves with iridescent zinc accents, and transforming corridors into lush green oases by exposing mechanical systems and incorporating suspended plantings. The upper level of Marie Esther Pavilion now features a central agora with tiered vegetation beds and iridescent glass partitions that create kinetic light effects, while redesigned work zones with felt-covered suspended ceilings offer adaptable spaces for collaboration.
