The Versant Clair Residence, designed by Muuk Architecture, presents a thoughtful approach to lakeside living through its harmonious integration with the natural landscape of Lac-Brome, Quebec. The home’s understated street-facing elevation is characterized by a white-pitched roof and pale wood cladding. These sensibilities create a restrained presence that minimizes visual disruption to the surroundings. In contrast, the rear façade opens dramatically to the lake through a double-height glazed wall. This serves to dissolve boundaries between interior and exterior while framing unobstructed views. A cantilevered balcony with slatted wooden screens enhances privacy and passive solar control.
