The Kenworth T680E semi truck was shown off by the brand at CES 2022 as an eco-friendly transportation solution that is focused on making shipping a little more sustainable. The truck comes with an 82,000-pound gross vehicle weight rating and is a Class 8 vehicle that will deliver 536-horsepower along with 670-horsepower at its peak. The vehicle has a top speed of 65mph to make it similar to existing diesel-powered alternatives presently on the roads and is rated to offer 150-miles of range per charge.
The Kenworth T680E semi truck would be capable of utilizing an array of different charging systems that range from 20kW to 350kW to make it a suitable transportation solution for the present infrastructure.
