This Fast Casual Eatery Depicts Freshness Through Interior Design

This unique food court restaurant concept does a great job of communicating freshness and quality by creating connotations between the interior design and a real maritime fish market. The restaurant, Fish & Co, tapped design studio Metaphor Interior to create the dynamic fast casual experience that is characterized by blue and white picnic tables, white subway-like brick walls and the inclusion of vivid seafaring graphics.

The suspended lighting also lends itself to visions of a seaside fish market, as does the fish-shaped wooden place mats, haphazardly mismatched chairs and industrial concrete ceilings.

One of the barriers for food court restaurants like this one is convincing consumers of the product's freshness and quality given the continually expanding interest in sustainable eating.
