This Beef Mince Packaging is Arriving in the UK at Lidl

This beef mince packaging is being introduced across the beef mince product range at Lidl GB to help reduce plastic material use, while also prioritizing a recyclable profile.

The packaging is reported to reduce plastic by nearly two-thirds (63%) when compared to alternatives, and will also help to save crucial space during delivery and on store shelves. The vacuum-sealed nature of the packaging also helps to double the shelf life to keep it fresher for longer, while the easy peel film is simple to open without having to make contact with the raw ingredient.

Lidl GB Head of Responsible Sourcing & Ethical Trade Shyam Unarket commented on the new beef mince packaging saying, "When the new packaging arrives in store early next year, we know that the huge benefits both from a sustainability and practical perspective, will be welcomed by our customers."
