Cars are an expensive commodity, and in a stagnant economy, car makers must entice consumers that their autos are splurge-worthy in the most economical manner possible. And while motorcycles are significantly less expensive than cars in terms of their initial purchase, they're still a tough sell among penny-pinching commuters.
