She is officially the most searched for designer on the Internet, with fellow designer Karl Lagerfeld coming in a close second place. This British designer has shown excellent work in the past year with biodegradable heels and polka dot-infused dresses, while also landing on the cover of every magazine. She created the Olympic Team GB kit and was named British Fashion Awards' Designer of the Year.

Being the most popular designer on the Internet is a great accomplishment in itself. According to the 2012 Google Zeitgeist list, McCartney joins fellow British designer Alice Temperley in the top five most search fashions.
