At CES 2015 in January, LG launched its Door-in-Door Mega-Capacity fridge, which takes advantage of a fridge's height with more folding vertical panels. Another refrigerator innovation to come out of CES 2015 included a smart fridge magnet by Invoxia, which serves as a speaker that is able to stream Internet radio and make voice calls in HD.

Other improvements include advancements to appliances like toaster ovens, cups, oil dispensers and coffee brewers, aimed to make time spent in the kitchen as useful as possible, in addition to making food and drinks as flavorful as they can possibly be. Moving outside of the kitchen and the home, there are also a number of devices like USB rice warmers and phone-charging mugs to increase convenience on the go.
