30 Future Racecars for NASCAR

NASCAR has launched a new season with the most popular race of the series, the Daytona 500, which features the so-called "Car of Tomorrow." NASCAR's history is rooted with guys who took the family sedan to the beaches of Daytona, Florida, raced the Daytona 500 on the beach and a city street, then returned the car to family use.

Over the years, the sedans that raced in NASCAR and the Daytona 500 and other races became specialized and not street legal. NASCAR now has gone totally toward a car designed specifically for NASCAR racing, referred to as the Car of Tomorrow.
