25 Equality Innovations

More than anything else, Black History Month 2011 should inspire people from all over the world to look back on the enormous contribution African culture has made and continues to make to the world -- especially when it comes to our ever-present need to keep racial equality, regardless of ethnicity, at the forefront of our local and global mindset.

With this in mind, this collection highlights just a few of the many innovations from the recent past which demonstrate how African culture and the equality movement continue to play a powerful role in shaping the story of human civilization.
