Implications - Even the oldest, most successful companies grow restless, which is why the world's iconic brands often venture into industries outside of their original market. This effects smaller companies in two ways: it increases the risk of sudden competition in any given industry and serves as an example for other organizations to live by. In today's crowded market, to serve one demographic exclusively could be fatal, thus, spreading oneself out may not be a bad idea.
