Tres funky! Scheduled to be shown at the historical Milanese Gallery on April 16th, Ryan Frank's creation 'ZiG' is a modular display/storage system made from solid bamboo. It's set on caster wheels which allows for ease of movement which in turn allows you to be creative in the way you link these units.
Ryan's collection of 'free-range' furniture makes use of sustainable and salvaged materials and when linked together they create a continuous storage system.
Implications - This project showcases the progressive movement of art in the direction of eco-consciousness. The Memphis brand is rich in its design heritage and well respected, and its decision to commission a designer like Ryan Frank, who prioritizes green design, promises a fruitful future for the art world.
