Zachary Scott photographed toddlers dressed as senior citizens to accompany an New York Times article, titled 'What if Age Is Nothing but a Mind-set?'
Children and old people have a lot in common. Toddlers and babies are generally helpless and rely on adult supervision to survive. The same is true for the elderly. It's almost as though we come full circle: we start out in diapers, and, most of the time, we end up in diapers.
Scott's photographs are scarily on point. With the use of wigs, makeup, props and a little bit of Photoshop magic, he turns these adorable children into old souls. The facial expressions and body language complete each photograph, resulting in a series of Benjamin Buttons.
