Z3RO Mini Knife Uses a Replaceable Tungsten Tip in an 11 Gram Keychain
References: yankodesign
The Z3RO mini knife uses a replaceable tungsten tip as its cutting edge within an ultralight keychain-sized tool weighing approximately 11 grams. The body is constructed from machined aluminum and shaped into a compact rectangular profile with chamfered edges. A steel carrier holds the tungsten insert at the front of the tool and allows the tip to be removed and swapped when worn. The tungsten component is designed to maintain a cutting edge without sharpening during normal use. A split ring attachment is integrated into the rear of the body for keychain carry.
The tool measures approximately 90 millimeters in length when extended, with a cutting edge of about 25 millimeters. Grip grooves are machined into the aluminum body for handling. The tungsten tip is significantly harder than steel and is supplied as a consumable component. Replacement tips are available separately. The knife is intended for light cutting tasks such as opening packaging and trimming materials.
