'Your Glory Days Are Over Mr Cthulhu' by Mattias Adolfsson shows a Cthulhu experiencing a mid-life crisis.
The series, which are illustrated drawings, follow Mr. Cthulhu as he goes through his day-to-day life until he has no choice but to surrender his business to clowns. After that, Mr. Cthulhu's life continues to go downhill. Mattias Adolfsson also tells a story with the illustrations: "Long gone are the heydays when Chtulhu was a household name, and the mere name Cthulhu brought nightmares to people all around the globe. At home the former Trophy wife, mrs Cthulhu spends her days in front of daytime soaps while the home turns to spoils. Mr Cthulhus son refuses to follow in mr Cthulhus footsteps joining the family firm instead opting for a career in dance."
The 'Your Glory Days Are Over Mr Cthulhu' series by Mattias Adolfsson doesn't tell a sad tale though. Once in mid-life crisis, his wife, Mrs. Cthulhu turns his life around, gets back his company and turns him into a fearful creature yet again.
