Yoplait's 'FruitSide' Places Yogurt and Fruit Pieces Side-by-Side

Yogurt with fruit on the bottom has become a standard across the industry, but Yoplait is now looking to change this with its new 'FruitSide' product.

Naturally, the fruit at the bottom of a yogurt cup is discovered last unless the product is mixed, but Yoplait FruitSide changes this by placing yogurt and fruit pieces side-by-side. To show off the fruit content of its yogurt pots, Yoplait embraced clear containers that make it easy for consumers to see the strawberry, peach, blueberry, mixed berry and cherry varieties.

As well as offering a yogurt product that visually sets itself apart from others on the store shelves, Yoplait is also prioritizing the placement of fruit within the packaging and as a result, emphasizes its importance as a healthy add-in.
