FUJIFILM announced the addition of a new lens that's compatible with its lineup of X series mirrorless digital cameras, called the FUJINON XF50mmF1.0 R WR.
The very first of its kind, the lens offers a maximum aperture of F1.0 and autofocus capabilities. When the lens is set to its maximum aperture, it's able to achieve an incredibly narrow depth-of-field—making it a great option for portrait photographers and those who prefer the smooth stylistic qualities supplied by this feature.
The lens also provides photographers with a variety of low-light capabilities, as the F1.0 aperture enables the lens to draw in more light. To offer a more precise focus, the lens comes with a newly designed focus ring—making it more accurate than the brand's other XF lenses.
