The Wuhan Pixel Box Cinema was designed by One Plus Partnership Limited. This stunning movie theater takes inspiration from its name, showcasing a variety of pixel-inspired structural and visual details.
From stacked boxes to blocked cube accents, this dynamic cinema was designed with purpose and function in mind. Challenging traditional design ideals, this expressive space fuses aesthetics with a comfortable user experience.
Modeled after pixels, the space is filled with countless blocked boxes that cover walls, ceilings and the theater's maze-inspired washrooms. Playing with scale, designer Virginia Lung used a variety of box sizes and heights when creating this winning design along with the help of her One Plus Partnership Limited team. Fusing user experience and function with dynamic design and aesthetics, the Wuhan Pixel Box Cinema is a space to remember.
