'World of Hyatt' is an Update on the Hotel Chain's 'Gold Passport'

Hyatt's 'Gold Passport' program has been a popular option for frequent guests, and the premium hotel chain has decided to up the ante for those who stay at its various locations with the brand new 'World of Hyatt' program. Having debuted at the beginning of this month, the new program makes it easier for more guests to join the elite level while offering better and more accessible benefits for the hotel's most loyal guests.

The World of Hyatt program offers guests two ways to get into the elite tiers. They can either meet a minimum amount of nights stayed, or they can meet a minimum amount of 'Base Points.' Base Points are earned at a rate of five points per dollar spent at a Hyatt.

There are three elite tiers: Discoverist, Explorist, and Globalist, each of which offers successively more impressive perks.
