Airline Loyalty Program Revamps

British Airways Elevates Loyalty with The British Airways Club

The British Airways Club marks a major evolution in how the airline rewards its frequent flyers. Debuted on April 1, 2025, the new loyalty program replaces the long-standing Executive Club, introducing a flexible Tier Point system designed to reflect modern travel habits.

Members will now earn Tier Points not just from flight costs but from a range of purchases, including seat selection, excess baggage, and British Airways Holidays packages. American Express Premium Plus Cardholders can also earn up to 2,500 Tier Points through card spending, with milestone rewards expected later in the year.

With higher thresholds -- 3,500 Tier Points for Bronze, 7,500 for Silver, and 20,000 for Gold -- The British Airways Club aims to offer a more dynamic and transparent path to elite status.
