This wood-clad house looks as though it is part of the nature it is surrounded by.

Designed by 'Curler Anderson Architects' in Oregon, the home is accompanied by a small guest house that is connected to the home via a walkway. The home sits on a man-made pond that was designed in order to fully immerse the residents with nature and that the structure is surrounded by. The house is predominantly made from wood, with the material being the main aesthetic feature in both the exterior and the interior. Floor-to-ceiling glass windows allow the residents of this wood-clad house to have full views of the surrounding pond, courtyard and forest.

This wood-clad house is inspired by the natural world and encourages interaction between people and their environments.
