Retro Wood Packaging

Clean the Sky - Positive Eco Trends & Breakthroughs

Greg Ellis Gives an Industrial Feel to TN Fruit Co.

— April 17, 2014 — Marketing
This retro wood packaging design by Greg Ellis for TN Fruit Co. looks like it could be from the 1920s. Not only did Ellis use straw string-like material to wrap around the bottles being sold, but he also placed the items into a wooden crate.

The packaging reminds viewers of decades past, when milk was delivered to one's doorstep and such things as social media didn't even exist. Ellis does a great job with photographing the items too, using slightly aged filters to add to this retro look. The packaging was done with the aim to offer a healthy fruit drink for a company that recently partnered with Coca Cola. While the branding doesn't necessarily scream "healthy," it's still eye-catching with the wood packaging.
