Wonmin Park's Colorful Range is Derived from a Chemical Source

Wonmin Park's latest addition to his 'Haze' collection follows earlier themes of minimalism and simplicity. The latest collection uses resin to create translucent slabs before they are attached and molded together. Park wanted to convey a light and airy feeling when designing this collection and felt that resin was the best material to use. The designer achieved his goal by creating translucent pieces with bright bursts of color.

The end result is a colorful collection that is subtle thanks to its translucent elements, used to convey nature and chemistry -- how fog or a burning fire distorts one's vision.

The pieces are meant to be practical household items and the collection includes tables, chairs, stools and desks.
