Wired Muscle is a new development that allows someone else to control your muscles. Using electric muscle stimulation (EMS) two bodies can be connected to one another, allowing one person's movements to be coordinated with another. The device works by tracking one person's movements, and then mirroring that movement on the other person's arm, making it possible for them to mirror physical behavior, without actually having to look at it.
This all sounds slightly eerie, however it's proving to be highly beneficial for rehabilitation patients, as it speeds up movements and reaction times, helping people with injuries relearn basic movements with more efficiency. Wired Muscle also provides users with the ability to learn new motor skills, like swinging a golf club more rapidly.
