A Scottish restaurant called the 'Winged Ox' recently rolled out a canine-friendly menu complete with chicken stock-based beer. While there are a number of restaurants that now dole out pet-friendly treats, this pub is taking things a step further by making sure that each pooch can also enjoy a pint with their owner.
The Winged Ox is a Glasgow-based restaurant run by chef Steve Martin. Martin's special dog's only menu includes lamb burgers served with rice, scrambled eggs with poached fish and even bowls of ice cream. The menu also includes cut-up hot dogs for picky pooches. Along with the pet-friendly dishes, the chef also created a non-alcoholic beer out of chicken and beef stock that can be enjoyed by thirsty canines.
The popularity of the pup's all-dog menu demonstrates that consumers are increasingly looking for opportunities to incorporate their pet into their daily routine.
