A blogger for The Chalkboard recently wrote about wine cubes for cooking; an easy and brilliant way to measure and cook with wine, as well as making use of old wine.
Wine cubes are basically frozen wine ice cubes. Best of all, the cubes last up to six months in the freezer. The cubes are exemplary of the concept of making most use of what’s lying around in the kitchen. Just as you’d make banana bread out of old bananas, wine can now be put away into the freezer and serve another purpose, too.
We see more and more processed cooking supplies nowadays for commercial and convenience purposes. It’s a surprise some company hasn’t come up with processed wine-replacement cooking tablets yet.
