These Will Brewster illustrations are special for those who grew up in the '90s. After all, it's not common to see that slimy gooey aesthetic in mainstream media today, yet it was hugely popular two decades ago.
It should be noted that Will Brewster begins most of his meticulous illustrations using a ballpoint pen. There's definitely an analog quality to his final products despite being colored digitally. Although he considers himself only an art hobbyist, he still has a stellar portfolio of similarly surreal images to the ones found in this gallery.
Those with keen eyes may be able to spot pop culture characters amidst the goop. Among those readily identifiable are Batman, Yoda, Darth Vader, Captain America and Judge Dredd.
