Literary Erotica-Based Editorials

The Wild Magazine 'Delta of Venus' Photoshoot Stars Magda & Pau

The Wild Magazine 'Delta of Venus' editorial pulls from the book of fifteen short stories by Anaïs Nin of the same name. A series of erotica, the sensual nature of the stories are visually explored throughout the photoshoot. The sapphic nature between models Magda Laguinge and Pau Bertolini is given a bit of gender ambiguity, however, since the latter takes on the role of the male convincingly.

Shot by photographer Ellen von Unwerth, the Wild Magazine 'Delta of Venus' editorial also embraces a vintage theme. This is appropriate considering that the stories were originally written in the 1940s, even though they were published in the late '70s. Styled by fashion editor Guillaume Boulez, the looks were perfected by hairstylist Tie Toyama and makeup artist Morgane Martini.
