Computer In A Bottle
Whisky PC is a Computer case mod of the project. The goal is to put every computer hardware inside a bottle of a whisky. It is quite amazing. To do this, the project uses an Intel Pentium 3 processor, 256MB of ram, and 40GB of hard disk space. The motherboard has a Mini-ITX form factor so it can fit the small-dimensioned bottle. The project was a success and the Whisky PC runs smoothly.
Implications - Taking one product and turning it into another is referred to as "upcycling" -- a concept that is gaining a ton of media and consumer attention in recent years. As opposed to striving to create new products altogether, companies should instead look for ways to upcycle existing products.
