Historic Athlete Cereal Packaging

The Latest Wheaties Century Box Features Michael Jordan

The latest Wheaties Century Box has been unveiled by General Mills to pay homage to the brand itself as well as the very athletes who have graced the packaging over the years. The new box features Michael Jordan who first appeared on the cereal packaging back in 1988 and boasts the athlete in a dramatic stance, about to take a shot during a basketball game. The packaging is rolling out to retailers now, while a Gold Foil Box will be available later this month for collector's to pick up.

The latest Wheaties Century Box celebrates Jordan for his achievements in the world of basketball, but also for his investment in forming 23XI Racing. His involvement made him the first Black majority owner of a full-time racing team in the NASCAR premier series in almost 50 years.
