The outrageous design for the upcoming Waterflux Art Museum and Alpine Ice Research Station looks downright otherworldly. French architects R&Sie(n) sought to reconcile organic forms and materials with reality-bending design from a plastic dimension.

The Waterflux Art Museum is set to be completed in 2009, and is located in Évolène, Switzerland.

Implications - Today's architecture is much more eccentric and offbeat than in years past. Designers are focusing on elements and shapes that will truly capture attention, and alien-themed aesthetics are one of them.
