WaterAid is an international organization that recently debuted a cutting edge digital donation platform that makes giving easy and fast. The system was designed in collaboration with MediaMonks, a product agency, and is called the 'Hope Locker.'
Targeted at swimmers, the campaign takes on the form of a swimming locker and allows individuals to donate the £1 deposit charged to use the locker to the charity as its being returned. The 'Hope Locker' system features an animation that depicts the £1 coin floating to the bottom of the water. When individuals return at the end of their swim, a video plays and lets them know that as they were swimming, one child elsewhere in the world was killed from exposure to dirty water.
