The 'Water from Air' Dispenser Concept is 3D-Printed

— July 12, 2025 — Art & Design
The 'Water from Air' dispenser concept has been designed by Louisa Graupe and Julika Schwarz as a piece of equipment for rural environments to support those who don't have ready access to potable water. The simple, portable yet potentially life-changing system is constructed with a series of 3D-printed components to maximize is ability to be easily deployed, but also repaired onsite as required. The unit works by capturing condensation from the surrounding environment throughout the day and storing the water in the base to have it ready for drinking or cooking.

The 'Water from Air' dispenser concept captures water in a distillation-like manner that will allow it to be free from most pollutants and contaminants to eliminate the need for extra filtration.
