The 'IUW' is a useful piece of water sport equipment designed by a Polish product designer named Julia Grochal.
The flotation device was made to keep athletes safe without hindering their movement, as well as help them get out of the water after strenuous physical activity. The device reportedly meets all the regulations set by SOLAS -- ensuring consumers that the life jacket doesn't miss out on any functionality even with its sleek and incredibly lightweight design.
The water sport equipment goes over one shoulder of its wearer, giving them more mobility in the neck and arms and has color-coded parts to designate different purposes. Though the device is secure when worn, it can easily be taken off in the water when needed and be used as a flotation that can be thrown. Photo Credits: designboom, yankodesign
