Radical Watch Clasp Concepts

Johan Link Introduces the Simple Yet Dynamic Watch Concept

Johan Link is the creative mind behind the Watch Concept -- boasting a simple name, the design is elevated and radical. Many timepieces are finished with buckles, velcro, straps, and other details. However, the Watch Concept by the Swiss designer explores a new approach.

The watch opens and closes at the body which means that the body is also the main clasp of the design. It has a two-piece build made from metal at the outer shell and it opens up to showcase an acrylic core with a watch encased inside of it. Link shifts the full clasp link to the top and integrates it quite literally into the body of the watch itself to split the case into two.
