Hardin's Creek Debuts the Three-Part Warehouse Series
References: jiggerdaily
Hardin's Creek recently introduced a new limited collection of bourbon called the Warehouse Series. This three-part range places a specific emphasis on the aging process, as each expression is aged in a different storage facility with unique environmental characteristics. In other words, Hardin's Creek explored how varying height, age, and humidity levels affected the expression, even though each version started with an identical base recipe.
The Warehouse Series includes Warehouse R (Mushroom), Warehouse W (Beaver), and Warehouse G (Owl). The first expression, which was aged in a rare single-story warehouse with no windows, imparts "deep oak influences and toasted sweetness." The second offering was aged in a high-humidity, five-story, nearly century-old rickhouse. Its expression balances depth and lighter oak smoke. The final option "comes from a towering nine-story structure" and "delivers unmatched complexity and layered aromatics."
