The Walmart app was recently updated with a range of new features, including one called 'Store Assistant' that transforms the in-store shopping experience. When a customer takes a trip to a physical Walmart store, the Walmart app turns into Store Assistant and offers a range of tools to simplify the in-store experience.
Store Assistant helps consumers get around better with Store Maps, which pinpoints where a desired item is located—not just in a general store area, but in which aisle and where on the shelf. As the app also provides a way for consumers to make smart lists, they can easily add to and check off the items as they pick them up.
Walmart's Store Assistant also puts tools like Walmart Pay, product searches and price scanners right at one's fingertips.
