Handheld Game Console Walkie-Talkies

This walkie-talkie concept is a retro gaming-inspired device imagined as a way for professionals or amateurs alike to keep in contact throughout the day or night. The walkie-talkie is inspired by the original Nintendo Game Boy, which sees the main body rendered in a light gray finish with a directional pad just below for cycling through frequencies. The unit is imagined with a neon yellow display to help enhance visibility after dark, while the volume control is positioned on the top in the form of a small knob.

The Nintendo-inspired walkie-talkie concept is the design work of Sidhant Patnaik and brings back a classic technology silhouette that, although antiquated, speaks to an increased desire for nostalgic product design.
