The Wacaco Minipresso GR2 follows its predecessor which was fueled by kinetic energy mostly with a hand-powered pump. This generated up to 8 bars of pressure to create the perfect cup of coffee. The Minipresso GR2 boasts a lighter and smaller design that is able to take more coffee grounds than the previous iteration.
Notably, it is still a hand-pumped design but it makes up for it in sustainable biomaterials that are integrated into the construction -- this reduces the plastic use and waste that it forms. The compact size of the Minipresso GR2 measures 2 inches shorter than the Minipresso. It is made specifically for those who are traveling or outdoor use such as camping.
