Back in 2010, acclaimed Irish designer Terry Cavanagh created an indie game for Mac OS known as VVVVVV. A beloved masterpiece that was rife with retro-style elements, VVVVVV has finally been brought to the mobile-loving community. Released earlier this year for Android and iOS devices, VVVVVV's adorable stick figure hero will make a great companion while commuting to and from work.
The object of VVVVVV is to help navigate Captain Viridian through a gravity-defying world full of dangerous spikes. Yet it wouldn't be surprising if a lot of people fall in love with VVVVVV for a completely different reason. The music is so on point, purchasing the smartphone app would make a great investment just to sit and listen to the game.
