Vogue Netherlands 'Les Beaux Arts' Pays Tribute to Three Artists

The Vogue Netherlands 'Les Beaux Arts' editorial pays tribute to three late modern artists: Jean-Michel Basquiat, Karel Appel and Jackson Pollock. The photographer behind the photoshoot, Erwin Olaf, explains, "The magazine wanted to do a series that involved modern art --it's a topic of the moment in Paris fashion--and I suggested working with Topolino, a fantastic makeup artist in France and a free spirit."

Focusing mainly on hair and makeup to capture each artists' signature style, the Vogue Netherlands 'Les Beaux Arts' editorial, which appears in the March 2014 issue, was perfected by Topolino and Paolo Ferreira, respectively. It stars models Elza Luijendijk, Ronja Amanda Berg and Lieke van Houten, each of whom were outfitted by stylist Marije Goekoop.
