Williams-Sonoma is now selling an exclusive copper-plated version of a Vitamix blender, offering an aesthetically pleasing new appliance for the home.

The special-edition Vitamix Ascent 5300 boasts five program settings, including ones specifically for smoothies, hot soups, dips and spreads, frozen desserts, plus a self-cleaning mode. The high-end blender also features a touchscreen display, a programmable timer function and compatibility with Vitamix Self-Detect containers, which is useful for helping consumers to simplify the process of making multiple batches at once.

Unlike many blenders that must be stopped and have their sides scraped down during the blending process, the Vitamix sets itself apart by drawing thick mixtures downwards toward the blade for better blending. Through Williams-Sonoma, the exclusive Vitamix A3500 Ascent Series Blender sells for over $600.
