Bottega Veneta Launches a "Theatre of Joyous Distraction"

Quarantine during the COVID-19 epidemic has forced a lot of things to go online--from meeting co-workers on the Zoom app to this virtual residency by Bottega Veneta which is described as "a theatre of joyous distraction."

Every week, Bottega Veneta will welcome a muse, artist or collaborator to celebrate the creativity of ideas. Each week-long virtual residency will have an itinerary--from meeting the artist on Monday to learning about their favorite artwork on Tuesday, and so on. On weekends, the virtual residency will feature "a live music event" and more.

With its virtual residency for creatives, Bottega Veneta seeks out to provide the much-needed inspiration during the times we are forced to stay home; "to celebrate [creativity] and ignite a sense of joy and hope in our community and beyond," as creative director Daniel Lee shares.
