This year, to release its Vinylmation Love Story, Disney is partnering up with Google and sharing it over the web and on Google Play apps. So far, Disney has put out a trailer for its full 38-minute video and content from Disney will be rolled out around Valentine's Day and continue until February 23rd.
Disney's Vinylmation collector toys are known for having tons of different designs, but the ones that star in the Vinylmation Love Story were "born blank in a painted world." The plain white little Mickey and Minnie toys, named "Blank" and "Bow" find their worlds colored with love for one another, but their short romance is interrupted and the two are torn apart. This is the start of the adventure for the Vinylmation toys.
The Disney/Google partnership will allow fans to take screenshots of the film and share them as Valentine's cards. Since the film has no dialogue, it has the potential for global appeal, as well as something kids and adults can enjoy.
