This is just an epic blow to my TV watching rituals. Considering I live and breathe Hulu (my television is what the French call ‘sans cable’), 'The Daily Show’ is one of my go-to programs for when I stay in. How often do I stay in you ask? Well I live in a super expensive city in California and work as a freelance writer. Let’s just say I’m not poppin’ bottles with Diddy on a Tuesday.
The moral of the story is, Viacom pulls 'The Daily Show' off Hulu and Brian loses a big chunk of entertainment.
Ironically, the show’s huge following and entertainment value lead to its (and Colbert’s) cancellation. Viacom wasn’t getting enough money out of the deal so… adios Jon.
The last Hulu day for 'The Daily Show’ and ‘The Colbert Report’ will be March 9, 2010.
