Community Sweepstake Initiatives

Verizon Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month with a Sweepstakes

To commemorate Hispanic Heritage Month, from September 15 to October 15, wireless network provider Verizon is launching a new campaign expected to benefit local Hispanic communities. As a part of the campaign, consumers are encouraged to share their personal narratives highlighting their positive contributions to their communities. Individuals are encouraged to share their stories, whether through photos or videos, on social media using the hashtags #SorteoTuCultura and #YourCultureSweepstakes until October 16.

Select individuals will also receive a $1,000 cash grant, providing further support for their ongoing community-centric initiatives.

In line with the introduction of new Spanish-language resources and to highlight its ongoing commitment to drive the digital transformation and expansion of small businesses, Verizon recently presented $10,000 grants to 25 Hispanic small business owners.
