Del Monte's new Veggieful Bowls share ready-to-eat servings of vegetables, whole grains and savory sauces in varieties like Asian Style Soy Sesame, Southwest Style Corn and Roasted Red Pepper. The single-serve bowls contain a full serving of vegetables and a nourishing base of red and white quinoa. While two of the Veggieful Bowls also include brown rice, the Garlic & Herb variety mixes quinoa, "mother of all grains," with riced cauliflower.
The plant-powered bowls share between five to six grams of protein and are packed with vegetables like carrots, peas and green beans, as well as black beans and lentils in some varieties. The grab-and-go meals are packaged with the whole grains in a separate compartment from the vegetables.
