For January, a month sees people trying out plant-based diets for Veganuary, Salt & Straw is introducing a Vegandulgence Series that's full of indulgent vegan ice cream treats to highlight the deliciousness of non-dairy frozen desserts. In fact, Salt & Straw describes that "This isn’t just dairy-free ice cream—this is something you’ve never experienced before."
The series includes a total of five flavors: Banana & Peanut Butter Tofu Pudding, Rocky Road with Aquafaba Marshmallows, Lemon Cheesecake Crumble, Sunflower Butter Cups and Toasted Oat Milk & Cookies, an oat-based ice cream. Some of the standout ingredients in these non-dairy, entirely plant-based creations are white beans, cashew-based cheese and coconut yogurt.
As well as being able to enjoy these plant-based treats in-store, Salt & Straw also sells take-home pints.
